Midis 30 shtator-1 tetor, n\u00eb Universitetin Georgetown Qatar u mbajt nj\u00eb konferenc\u00eb nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare me tem\u00eb “Historit\u00eb dhe Praktikat Globale t\u00eb Islamofobis\u00eb”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00eb konferenc\u00eb p\u00ebrve\u00e7 akademik\u00eb nga Universitti mor\u00ebn pjes\u00eb edhe sociologu Yasin Aktay, gazetar\u00eb, artist\u00eb dhe student\u00eb universitar\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pjes\u00ebmarr\u00ebsit diskutuan faktor\u00ebt e ndrysh\u00ebm global\u00eb, historik\u00eb, fetar\u00eb dhe politik\u00eb q\u00eb kan\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb q\u00eb fenomeni i islamofobis\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrhapet n\u00eb mbar\u00eb bot\u00ebn, nd\u00ebrsa theksuan r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e hulumtimit, dialogut, bashk\u00ebpunimit p\u00ebr t\u00eb eliminuar praktikat e urrejtjes, paragjykimit dhe diskriminimit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dekani i Universitetit George Town, Safwan al-Masri, n\u00eb fjalimin n\u00eb mbyllje t\u00eb konferenc\u00ebs, tregoi se po inicon nismat globale p\u00ebr t’u p\u00ebrballur me racizmin n\u00eb t\u00eb gjitha format dhe manifestimet e tij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edukimi, rritja e nd\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebsimit, dialogu, zhvillimi i politikave dhe organizimi i takimeve q\u00eb mbledhin s\u00eb bashku ekspert\u00eb dhe politik\u00ebb\u00ebr\u00ebs, jan\u00eb nd\u00ebr shembujt q\u00eb Al-Masri i dha q\u00eb mund t\u00eb jepen si shembuj t\u00eb pun\u00ebs s\u00eb kryer n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb fush\u00eb. “Konferenca u organizua p\u00ebr t\u00eb t\u00ebrhequr v\u00ebmendjen ndaj islamofobis\u00eb, p\u00ebr t’u p\u00ebrballur me efektet e saj shkat\u00ebrruese dhe p\u00ebr t\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetur p\u00ebrpjekjet e aktivist\u00ebve, edukator\u00ebve dhe intelektual\u00ebve”, tha ai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profesori i Retorik\u00ebs dhe Mendimit Antikolonial t\u00eb Universitetit Leeds, Salman Sayyid, nga ana tjet\u00ebr, n\u00eb sesionin ku u trajtuan rr\u00ebnj\u00ebt intelektuale t\u00eb problemit, tha se islamfobia, bazohet n\u00eb iden\u00eb se nuk ishte e mundur t\u00eb “integrohen musliman\u00ebt n\u00eb shoq\u00ebri”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Edhe pse islamofobia \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb form\u00eb e qeverisjes raciste q\u00eb synon besimin islam, nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb e nevojshme q\u00eb nj\u00eb person t\u00eb jet\u00eb musliman p\u00ebr t’u ekspozuar ndaj islamofobis\u00eb, mjafton t\u00eb jet\u00eb af\u00ebr musliman\u00ebve ose t\u00eb shihet si musliman”, theksoi Sayyid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profesori i fes\u00eb, marr\u00ebdh\u00ebnieve nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare dhe studimeve islame n\u00eb Universitetin Georgetown, dhe nj\u00ebher\u00ebsh Drejtor themelues i Qendr\u00ebs p\u00ebr Mir\u00ebkuptimin Muslimano-Kristian Alwaleed, John Esposito, vler\u00ebsoi se “Islamofobia nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb fenomen q\u00eb do t\u00eb zhduket s\u00eb shpejti, p\u00ebrkundrazi po p\u00ebrkeq\u00ebsohet edhe m\u00eb shum\u00eb”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
